It is not unusual for customers to come to Tint View requesting window tint removal. This is most common when someone has fitted their car with a DIY solution or paid for a very cheap installation to save a few bucks. Cheap window films will bubble up and separate from the glass leaving behind a window you can barely see out of. Inexpensive films will also fade and turn purple after prolonged exposure to UV light, and they will begin to peel or get scraped and damaged from casual contact. For these customers we offer a tint removal service to get the glass back to factory condition before applying new tint.
Our pricing to the right shows the total fee and each vehicle that requires tint removal. For a vehicle with all of its back windows tinted we would estimate it will take from 1.5-3 hours. Why the big range? If the window tint is fairly new it is possible to peel off large strips, but old and faded tinting films can become so brittle that they come off in little slivers. Once we take a look we can let you know how long we think it will take.

How long does it take?
Generally speaking it takes about half a day to tint or un-tint your windows. That means you drop of your car and pick it up the same day, hassle free.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes you do. Because we tint for major dealerships in town as well as individual clients we are usually booking about a week in advance for appointments. Some times in the year you can get in sooner, but just give us a call and we can let you know right away.
